Immediately after Mulligan’s closed, Irish import McGettigan’s moved in just in time to ensure that Clarke Quay continued to stock up on Guinness, Gaelic football and live music. Opened in Dublin in 1960, the bar has grown to include locations in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, and is now entering the Asian market with a point of sale in Singapore, offering draft beer and Magners by the bottle, as well as standard pub grub like fish and chips.
